Leisure - Winter activities
The South Bohemia region can offer a lot even in winter time. It is a perfect place not only for fans of winter sports but also for those who prefer to relax.
Skiing, snowboarding
A ski bus service is available from the hotel to the ski resort Lipno which is only 7 km away. Ski resort Lipno is a modern resort offering an endless comfort for the family with children and the beginners. Ski resort Lipno offers a comfortable and fast transportation without waiting in the queues on 3 new four-seat chair lifts and 3 moving carpets.
Snowboard fans can enjoy an attractive snowpark in the lenght of 600 m and you will be pleased with the evening romantic skiing on the 1300 m long ski slope. The most modern learn&fun park in the Czech Republic - Foxpark is the jewel of skiarea, it uses the most modern trends of ski training for children and adults.
Next to the free central parking place directly at a chair lift you can find complete background for your holiday - 2 selfservice restaurants, apres´ skibars, skirental, school and skiservice. Due to the fact that the hotel is very close to the border with Austria you can also go skiing to the great austrian ski resort Hochficht.
Land crossing
There are many routes for land crossers. It is also possible to cross on ice-covered surface of the Lipno lake.
Ice skating
A great relaxation is an ice skating on the surface of Lipno lake which gets frozen for several months every year.
Bob-sleighing
7 km far from the hotel there is a bob-sleighing route. Due to the installed heating it can be open during the whole year. The bob is safe, comfortable and very easy to drive even for small children.
Dog team
If you would like to try something exotic and untraditional we can arrange for you a ride in sleigh pulled by the dog team. During this exciting trip you will discover the beautiful sceneries of the Lipno surroundings.
Ice Surfing
The frozen surface of the Lipno lake provides excelent conditions for one of the new adrenalin sports – ice surfing (winter windsurfing).
Snowkiting
Snowkiting is a new sport branch which joins windsurfing, skiing and flying. It' s a very exciting and funny activity. For two and more people we can arrange an individual training.
Snow rackets
The snow rackets enable going to places with deep and soft snow, where wouldn' t you able to get without them. You can participate in one of the trips with rackets which are arranged from Lipno nad Vltavou.
Waterpark Frymburk
Not only kids but also adults will love the Waterpark, which is less than 1 km away. Among a lot of fun facilities you will find: indoor swimming pool, 2 swimming lanes, wild river, water springs, hydromassage jets, water slide, children´s pool, whirlpool, steam, sauna or pool bar.
Relax in horse saddle
Are you an adventurer wanting to discover the South Bohemia sceneries from the horseback? Whether you are an advanced or novice rider we can arrange for you the riding lessons and individual or group rides.
Shooting range
Try target-shooting using a pistol, airgun or even Kalashnikov in a nearby shooting range. Gun licence is not necessary. You can also try to play Airsoft (a game very simmilar to paintball).
